ok so we are going out for a nice ride in the country to a farm...a store, a wine-tasting store, etc. It's an all-inclusive shopping and eating place. Wow! Can it get any better for ME????????????

It's another day in paradise in The Lost Zone. Clear skies, a cool 69 with temps into the mid 70's with a perfect breeze
I'm eating breakfast as I type, so If I forget later someone can remind me.

It's actually an international meal ( and I got it ALL at the local market!)
I like to make everything myself. NO frozen if I can help it.
This morning it's Eggs Benedict. The "dict" was a retired Wall Street Broker.(American)
The English muffin is "made in America." They never made it in England. It was supposedly an experiment by some mad scientist/ chef who says while he was preparing the mixture it talked to him in broken English so he tried to teach it Proper English.but failed to ever get it to talk again no matter how many drugs he tried. It was originally called a Broken English Muffin, but was changed to just English Muffin because No one wants to eat broken food!!
Canadian bacon,is an American name for bacon made from ham and has nothing to do with Canada
The eggs are from Chickens made in America
And Hollandaise sauce which is of a French origin has so many variations that the Hollandaise we make is actually American.
So everything that makes up Eggs Benedict is American.

The potatoes are American grown (in a garden of some sort, I suppose)
The garnish of slices of HoneyCrisp Apples are from New Zealand and the dark roast Espresso beans for my Cappuccino come from some other world country.
Thus an International Breakfast!!

I'm not sure why they call it Canadian bacon in the US. We call it back bacon.

Oh... Almost forgot!! Today is National Raspberry Cake Day . That should save the planet or would it have to be "International" to make a difference?? Hummm!!

I'm with you on politics but this isn't gonna be just a convention.... It's the FIRST NATIONAL CIRCUS . you can expect some exciting side shows like the National Guard, lot of fights and I wouldn't be surprised if there was an assassination or two. Humans are out for blood. This isn't about the issues. there's no intelligence what-so-ever allowed. It's all about having a woman president who got sloppy with her emails or giving the codes to launch nuclear weapons to a completely unstable nut-job!

My money's on the two assassinations!
No matter how it ends and who wins... the country will tear itself apart with riots and other stooopid human tricks. Right now the country is divided 50/50. That's scary!!!
