Ok so I just picked up Tiger 10 for 360 and love it, but I have yet to figure out the chipping concept. I get close to the green and the chipping grid comes up, I understand that the dots flow in the way the green rolls just like putting, but what is the difference between the red, green, and blue sections of the grid?

the chipping on all those games doesnt make any sense to me, they just all seem like random shots.

the way i chip is just aim as close to the hole as possible. if your under distance, try and put as much forward spin on as you can while keeping it straight. if you're over distance its the opposite obviously but not as much spin, you dont need quite as much backspin on a chip.
this normally is my best bet as i never pay attention to the grid on the chipshots, it doesnt seem to make much difference to me.
