    California Assembly OKs smartphone ‘kill switch’ bill

    Just a FYI. I read the latest amended version of the bill. Enabling the kill switch is voluntary. [I'd be ranting and raving if it were mandatory since a kill switch is a magnet for hackers.]

    I read the subject as "bill was killed on the desk", because it says "kill switchbill" instead of "killswitch bill".

    That is what I get for writing the post from a computer rather than a Blackberry!

    For some unknown reason, my phone has been losing the cookies that hold some account passwords. Actually the crackberry app password went AWOL.
