I bought the lenovo yoga 2 and it's pretty sturdy. Well built with specs that meet the average user's needs. It's also extremely light and thin with pretty decent battery life.

The best part is that it folds into a tablet which makes it easier to draw or play games on.

But from experience, I'd recommend either lenovo or maybe Asus. HP isn't very good from what I experienced, their cooling and battery technologies are terrible. Dell isn't very good either unless you get a high end one, the ones that we got from my school were falling apart and 90% of people had to get something repaired in the 2 years we had them.

Another option, which is one I considered but I wanted a full touch screen, is buying a mac book and installing or dual booting windows on it. The hardware is pretty high end on macbooks so all you need to add is some decent software

I'd go with Dell or HP because they seem to be very rugged and reliable.
