Blondie was creative. Blondie was unique. Blondie invoked Fab Five Freddie and had their 15 minutes of fame. But Hall of Famers?? And HOFers before, and instead of, Rush!? Not in my book.

^^ Good point. I know most of those songs and like them. I'm not trying to say Blondie didn't put out some good, creative music, only that to me they're not HOF material, especially at the exclusion of Rush, Jethro Tull, etc. as others have mentioned earlier in the thread.

However, thus far the HOF nominating committee has somehow managed to do their job without soliciting my armchair music critic input, so I guess I'll just have to put up with their decisions and tough it out.
