OK, here's my thoughts...

After reading many post about people "finding" a blackberry and should they keep it or turn it in... and from a healthy discussion from college days I wanted to repeat a very unscientific poll. As the OP I am not here to judge, just very curious how minds work.

The situation:

You're walking/driving/biking down the street and see a bank ATM spewing cash. Nobody is around, nobody is watching, just you and the machine, with cash coming out as you watch. What do you do?

I'd still stay away.

I have no qualms about taking money from a bank. The FDIC is in place for a very good reason.

I know this is being posed as a hypothetical scenario...but Karma does exist; and it definitely does exact itself with equilibrium to bring things full circle. Never wpuld I take advantage of something like that.

However circumstances; if dire enough... can make people do things they never even thought they would; or that they never thought they were capable of....just as with people who have or are willing to sever their own limbs to survive if need be...some resort to theft to survive.

Is this a virtuous way to lead life? No. Is there any legit justification? No.
