    So today I entered kids foot locker website and the first thing that pops up is.... this shows how Apple and Google are controlling so many companies.

    no its not about paying at all. they are coding their websites to meet the standards of the popular browsers. Many websites see "blackberry" as the browser identification and think back to the OS 7 browser. Its laziness on the backend for the website for the most part.

    But isn't BlackBerry 10 browser a webkit browser? I don't quit understand.

    It declares itself a BlackBerry browser (user agent).

    If you download Browsie Browser, you can select the user agent and Web sites will think you are using an iPhone or Android device.
