If RIM made a unique phone just for Obama, and you somehow got ahold of one, you'd have something special. Other than that, whatever model he has, he's just 1 of 1,000's just like everyone else. The phone you want, is Tiger Woods' phone. It can handle A LOT of use!

I don't think it was a Blackberry Per se -- there are blackberry-like devices that the military use, and I think he got one of those. I'm pretty sure they have extra crypto and other sorts of "hardening".

The President has two phones
1) his blackberry, which is heavily monitor by the FBI and SS, that is for personal use only
2) a ! H ! E ! A ! V ! I ! L Y ! monitored government issued phone.
