Just wanted to say "hi" to all fellow crackberrys out there, and say that I joined the blackberry world about a month ago, and have loved every minute of it, until last night. I discovered the hard way that blackberrys and washing machines are not the best match. I made an insurance claim (many many thanks to my wife for talking me into getting the insurance!), and now the waiting game has begun. $50 later, my new Pearl will be arriving Tuesday. I've already found myself reaching for it more than a few times... "crackberry" could not be more fitting! So, to sum up, a little free advice from a new addict: get insurance! $6 a month and $50 for a replacement is so worth it when you think of having to pay full retail for this awesome device! I'm really dreading having to carry around my old RAZR for a couple days, but I guess in the big scheme of things, I could be a lot worse off.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Insurance was something I had never had on any of my previous phones, but I am VERY grateful the the little lady talked me into it. The funny thing is, I always have to convince her to get extended service plans on TVs, appliances, etc. and we've never had to make a claim on one of those. Only two more days till the replacement pearl arrives...
I wish it was available on 8310s on AT&T. I will double check to see if they've updated it to include the Curve. Maybe they'll cover my 8320 since T-mobile does.
