Der Spiegel, german reliable source, reported: over 18 million stolen email passwords.

The perpetrators are from Germany and the prosecutor from Verden has started the investigation. There are recent data which were found. They are currently being abused. It affects all major German e-mail provider and several international suppliers and it is advised to change the password.

The Federal Office for Security in Information technology equipment want to set up a test site for email addresses.
