Alright, we all know there are movies that are highly rated / highly acclaimed

3) Taxi Driver
4) Saturday Night Live
5) Shindler's List
6) Gone With The Wind
7) Spaceballs
8) Scarface
9) The Color Purple
10) This Is Spinal Tap

*thud* I just passed out for a second. Christopher Guest is incredible. TIST, Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show and A Mighty Wind are must sees!
1. Godfather I
2. Godfather III
3. Casino
4. Scarface (I think that's all the mob movies)
5. Citizen Kane (even tho i own it, never watched it)
6. Raging Bull
7. Slumdog Millionaire
8. Brokeback Mountain
This is really hard. I'll have to get back to you with the last 2.
Are these movies that we want to see that we haven't and we know we should???
Some of these I haven't seen in a LONG time, like I was young enough to not really remember them...
Nope, just ones you have not seen.
9. Dr. Strangelove
One of my all time favorites. Three pieces of trivia:
1) It was the first movie role for James Earl Jones.
2) The scene where they are going through the survival kit they change
Slim Pickens line from "A guy could have a pretty good weekend in Dallas
with all that stuff" to "A guy could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas
with all that stuff" out of deference to President Kennedys' assassination.
If you watch it closely you'll see the words don't line up with his speech.
3) Slim Pickens was the only person affiliated with the movie who was not
told it was a comedy. They let him play the role straight which only made
it even funnier
Pulp Fiction
Million Dollar Baby
Grease
Office Space
Blazing Saddles
Wyatt Earp ("Tombstone" was fabulous)
Fight Club
Runaway Bride
Serpico
Driving Ms Daisy
Best movie ever is a stretch, but funny and inventive certainly. The sheer
number of anachronisms only make it more hilarious.
Yeah...well, there's something that always gets the guys (I know) in stitches: The campfire beans scene...grown men just laugh to the point of tears, and I still don't get it. Guess I have to see it, huh? Oh well...thank for the recommendations!

Tell ya what, skip "Blazing Saddles" but I assure the last "Driving Miss Daisy"
will tug at your heartstrings at least 10 times.
You could have ten thugs loading up and planning an armed robbery
and that movie will soften them into mush.
