Really.... all this because you cannot run Android.... Hmmm... wonder why these people who love Android so much even bothered with the Playbook..... Must have a reading problem as RIM bent over backwards to tell everyone it would be Limited Android......
You may think it is a "crappy app store".... that is funny because that is my view of Android Market etc.... Ton's of fart apps... add driven apps and let us not forget all that wonderful Malware to screw up your device.... Oh.... and no guarrentee that the apps you download will actually work on your device.......
Yup... I would rather have a "limited.. crappy" stable and policed app world as opposed to the in the famous words of a RIM executive..... the "cess pool" android is becoming.......
Remember to each their own... and feel free to own your beloved Android......
On the topic of WebOS.... it is Lightyears ahead of Ice Cream Sandwhich.... As I own one and actually like it......Last edited by dbmalloy; 04-30-2012 at 10:07 PM.

You sound like a fanatic to me. You must have not seen Google Play recently. There is just no comparison to AppWorld. Yes, there are some fart apps, but there is also increadible number of cool apps and even more excellent games. I discover a new great game almost daily on Android. I discovered three that I like on AppWorld in two months.
Maybe AppWorld will be better in the future - now it's in a sad state. There isn't even a good PDF reader. - 05-02-2012, 01:57 AM #79
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is not available on Android --- Sony announced 7 months ago that they were getting it for the Xperia Play, but it was never released. It is available on the Playbook.
Jetpack Joyride is not available on Android but will be available on the Playbook. - 05-02-2012, 02:46 AM #80UberCurrency - Free currency conversion app for PlayBook.

This thread started as a discussion of the inability to jailbreak the latest OS update. Some of us are interested in that discussion and hope that this is the place we might find it. I agree that there is a lot of nontechnical ideas being presented, but at least those are better than "what game I can't wait to get". That discussion needs to have its own thread in the gaming section and that was my point. I actually found Xsacha's responses to some of the humorous ideas educational.

Urghhhh... I'm sorry I'm better when I actually concentrate on typing I truly did not mean "we" but I don't get it some how when someone says that every one else just goes and shouts "We? what do you mean we..." It kind of gets on my nerves. Sorry no harm meant...

"we" is a collective term. It implies direct involvement by the party using the word.
EDIT: And Mkaa00x, it gets on my nerves when people say "we" when they weren't involved
But don't feel bad, people do it all the time, it's understandable that it becomes part of people's way of speech in this sort of environment. Plus I'm probably just being annoying. I posted that when I was tired, and therefore somewhat irritable. Apologies.
