Ok first of all, if I am on 2.0.0.4869 and have rooted my blackberry .

Can I get the 2.0.0.7971 apps/functionality and keep 4869 core and therefore keep root.

I read xsacha said he had a method to do this. Can you please share.

Or can someone explain how I could do this and i'll try it.

Basically create a CFW . 7971 functionality but keep 4869 core so have root .

Any ideas ?

Not sure if this is true of not cause i havent looked through the files but the PIM apps are most likely part of the core OS making it impossible to sideload individual PIM apps like messaging/calendar etc. Not sure if iam right or not, correct me if iam wrong

kk so download the files above in the post... and then eat a sandwich (preferably cheese unless you're lactose tol.) Dance like a monkey and by the time you do that hopefully, the file is finished downloading... open it and install every file except the original OS (you will not hae every single functionality but it's close enough
