Default PB disrupting WIFI after root/downgrade

I've been having a lot of problems with my WIFI network after going through the whole process of rooting, downgrading to 4869 and installing HCL/android. PB connection to the network is extremely spotty and seems to catch only occasional spikes of signal.

At first I thought it was my router because my laptop also was experiencing poor connectivity. Then I noticed that whenever I secured the PB's WIFI antenna, that my laptop was able to browse with no problem. This only seemed to happen after downgrading to 4869. The PB connected well prior to the process.

I will be trying to upgrade to 6149, see if that has any affect. Getting a lot of crashes with HCL and Android that seem to stem from the poor network connection. Anyone else having similar problems? Any possible fixes?

Well, upgrading didn't help. Weird. Has anyone else had problems with their PB jamming their WIFI network?

I've had this issue before (without root).. around four months ago. Playbook would sometimes take down my router even. It seems it doesn't happen to me anymore though. Random perhaps.
