Hello everyone. I installed BB10 on my PB and did a security wipe thinking that would return the device to factory settings but instead the device rebooted and got stuck at the BB10 setup screen. I turned it off and plugged in the usb to get Desktop Manager to update the OS but the installation stops and tells me to complete the setup first but I can't. I also tried CFP but it's the old .49 version and says the device can't be recognized. Is my PB bricked?

Nope Manager is asking me to finish the setup but I can't because it's stuck on the Wifi setup screen IMG-20130129-00005.jpg

Yes I know they aren't. I was just curious the earlier alphas were less buggy than the newer ones though.

bricking was a result of many doing this...good luck

Plug your PB in and THEN turn it off, ensuring that it is OFF. Device manager shouldn't be able to know if you have finished set-up if it is like this. Another guy had this happen where he was stuck on the set-up screen. Link Update to OS 10 bricked Playbook to blue wallpaper - How to unbrick?.
