Default Help about downgrading from 2.0.1

Hi I've had my playbook for a while and I decided it was time to root it. For the past few days I've been scouring the forums etc. on how to downgrade from the cureent OS to something like 2.0.0.6149. When trying to use Dingleberry the download doesnt work but I know that its because BNXtreme have dissocociated themselves. However I cannot seem to get the custom option too work.
please help i am losing my mind trying to figure this out!

Yeah. But know that any app that could be installed from the Android market and work can be sideloaded perfectly fine. Many apps won't work, but they wouldn't work if installed via the Market on a rooted device either.

Nope. There is no (public) method for rooting 2.0.1 or downgrading it to a rootable OS. dingleberry 4.0 is for people on lower OS already rooted to upgrade to a custom version of 2.0.1 which is rooted

DB 4.0 will not be for people on a lower version...

DB 3.3 is for older versions...

If you purchase a new PB you can prevent the 2.0.1 with CFB (provided you can find a copy online, which should not be hard)...

You guys misread... he said version 2.0.0.6 Which means it's a go! get someone to givee you links to the following
CFP.exe (or you can ask me to email it)
and the software version you want Link: playbookelite.com and then go to downloads and get the firmware NO.

Create a folder in C:/ called CFP and run cmd (no admin needed) type cd c:/CFP/ press enter. Locate to that folder using Windows explorer and then rename the file with the OS in it to .rar (one with longest name) oor to .zip open it and extract the .signed file put that in C:/CFP/ and then go back to the CMD type cfp load (the .signed file's file name with the extension(.signed)) and connect your playbook. press enter wait untill you complete and then you go ahead and root using DB

There is no exploit for rooting on current OS versions, so I don't see what DB 4.0 could be for other than what I said; making custom versions of current OS for installation by rooted users on lower OS versions.
