    I have my playbook set up for PayPal. When I press "Purchase" nothing happens. The button changes color but nothing else happens. I tried different apps and I tried my wife's Playbook but I get the same result. I found an old thread about this but no solution was found. I contacted Blackberry but their response did not help. Does anyone went through this in the past? What should I do?

    I went through this with my Passport and Z10.
    First, do you have the most up to date OS installed.
    There was a period when Blackberry stopped offering Paypal as a choice (no one knows why) BB said it was Paypal, Paypal said it was the Carrier.....
    but now you once again have that choice through the main settings and payment options.and also through BB World payments

    Also, you can download Paypals App.

    Up top of page here ^^^ in "search forums" box type "Playbook." Your question may be answered there.

    Yes, I have the latest OS. How do I know if I have the latest Blackberry World? I do not have any notification for updates.

    In blackberry World Settings (swipe down from the top to get to settings.. at the bottom of the setting screen it'll show the version. The latest being Version 5.3.0.10

    I think the OP is referring to the PlayBook? Not BB10

    Problem solved. I turned it off overnight and then I managed to replace Paypal with Credit card the next day.
