Default Why the f cant i install apps or sideload apps?

Every time I try to install an app through app world, it gives a popup that says "Install Error:[0008] There was a problem during installation." And when I try to sideload, the program gives me a "failure-4" and the app icon shows up on the playbook, but when i click on the app it never loads.

Have you tryed rebooting, or security wiping your Playbook? I had a similar problem once and a restart made it work again.

First check to make sure u have enough space. Then check the date settings on the playbook. Log out of app world and log back in. App World settings can be found in app world then sliding down from the top of the bezel.

I have read somewhere that you've to change the date to 2008 ! (Unclick 'Set auto-time' )

Your thinking of the date reset, which only works for App World. That involves setting your date far into the future (i.e. now in 2012) and restarting your device.

    That won't apply here.
