If you all could pick 5 Android apps from the Android Market that you'd like to see ported to the PlayBook through BlackBerry App World, what would they be?

(Keep in mind the limitations of the Android App Player)

I understand there's a limitation to the Android Player but I'd love to see some Google native apps. Namely, Google Maps, Reader, Gtalk and Gmail.

Google says some of these limitations include:

    SIP VoIP
    Widgets
All apps that rely on Google Maps and text-to-speech will be blocked
    Google's in-app purchasing system
    Cloud-to-device messaging
    Android Live Wallpapers
Android apps built On Android Native Development Kit
Apps that contain more than one activity tied to the Launcher

    I'm guessing there's more....

    • No "live wallpaper"
    • No SIP or SIP VoIP support
    • No applications created using the Android Native Development Kit (NDK)
    • No apps that consist only of home screen "widgets"
    • No apps that "rely" on Google Maps
    • No in-app billing services
    • No support for Android text-to-speech engine
    • No "cloud-to-device" messaging
    • No apps that demand multiple "activities" tied to the Android launcher

So why are google things blocked? Are those same things blocked from apple? MS? WebOS? Or is google playing if you want it buy ours?

I guess better get use to if you are not popular you're blocked out from the crowd. I don't use em anyway but still.

If I could have anything that's installed on my android phone and put it on my Playbook (future bb10 phone?), I'd take:

    AdFree
    psx4droid
some pdf reader (I have ezPDF reader)
    chrome to phone
    ...and that's about it.

As for my other android apps, the PlayBook either already has it, some suitable alternative, or I really wouldn't miss if I didn't have it.

Edit: I guess I'd take Google maps. Might not be necessary if Microsoft brings over Nokia Maps to QNX.

I've already sideloaded trillian, works nicely, but a native one will always be preferred
