i optimized it for a playbook using WebWorks SDK.
now you can enjoy Tweetdeck on your playbook

Optimised in what way?

I can log into web.tweetdeck.com on my playbook no problem already, it even asks for permission to do notifications and WebGL..

What does your app/bar offer over having a shortcut to the website? Other than maybe getting rid of the browser bar at the top of the page?

This is an separate app, so no part of the browser. because of that it will run smooth, let your LED flash when you get a notification and if your browser crashes Tweetdeck will go on !

I wasn't able to add my twitter account with the app, had to do it from the actual site. Did any one else have this problem?

Also had to restart the application so it could sync.

I'm going to try this when I get home, this is incredible if you can go to a website (HTML5?), run it through webworks and make it an app.

I downloaded the file to my computer to side load but it's a .rar file not .bar. How do I convert it to a .bar file? I'm using a Mac to side load BTW
