Time Warner Cable PB app disappeared
I downloaded the TWC TV app a couple of weeks ago and it seemed to work well. I noticed just a day or 2 ago that the app has disappeared from my PB. I do not recall uninstalling it. When I check AppWorld, I cannot find it. It also is not in my Uninstalled apps list.
Anyone else run across this? - 01-29-2013, 03:21 PM #2
Are you sure you got this officially? I believe this is an app that folks are sideloading, after someone converts the android apk to a bar file. Google is your friend.

Someone likely uploaded it illegal to appworld and RIM pulled it

Time Warner Cable PB app disappeared
With having a desktop browser I just go to broadcast sites like hbogo and watch it as I would on a computer.

the cool part of this app was that it allowed you to control your DVR both to record shows and change channels.
From your responses, it must have been an unauthorized upload of the android version - I remember seeing a message when first running it that said watching shows live in the app required 4.0 or higher, which I assume means that I have to eat some of google's dessert
