QR codes on the playbook
BB smartphones had a "Scan a bardcode" option in the appworld. The appworld on playbook doesn't have that option, but the QR Codes are still there on the website.

PlayBook does not have a native QR code scanner so you must navigate to the app's download page in the App World app if you want to purchase/download a PB app.
I have used a third party QR Reader available in App World to read the bar code on the web version of App World and it does work but I find that using the search field in PB App World more convenient. Search for QR Scanner by Tobias Rothe.
