Hey the new version of ppsspp was released and is supposed to fix the problem I encountered before. But when me and others install it, it says failure 881 no debug token found! Which I think means they forgot to sign it. It's not available on the http://www.ppsspp.org/ site but it's available on the http://www.qtness.com/blog/ site. I have two quesions:
    1. Can anyone sign a .bar file even if they didn't make the app?
If so, can someone do that?!

    2. If not, who is behind the Qtness Development Working on Qt apps site so I can ask them to do it?
I think it's xsacha and I would ask him but he hasn't been on for a while

Qtness is run by xsacha, yes. And I think in theory it should be possible for other people to sign the app, but I'm not sure exactly how to go about doing it. I seem to remember trying the last time this was an issue and failing.

ya, sure. I think anyone can sign an unsigned bar file. that's how we port from android apks.
apk -> bar -> signed bar

after using it, it seems the bug where it force closes whenever using fastmem JIT is still here. the update didn't really change anything! Can you plz look into the bug

There are no bugs with FastMem anymore since v0.65+. It shouldn't really be an option anymore because it does not affect anything negatively. Are you sure this game works without FastMem as well? Which game are you speaking about?

Any bugs you get also affect the other mobile platforms such as Android, Symbian, Meego, .. .

When I dont use it, nothing loads and is slower than expected. When I use it, it just instantly crashes. This didnt occur until the new pb os update. Ever since, this has been a probelm. Tried different iso's, restarted pb, deleted and reinstalled app but still no cigar...

And you are definitely using v0.6.8 or v0.7.0?
Can you give me the name of atleast one game you experience this with? I'll try and track down the issue.

Im using 0.6.8. Is there a 0.7.0? anyways examples are: lamecraft, jetpack joyride, age of zombies

    same problem in 0.7.0

edit: now age of zombies and a few other games work again. But still no lamecraft or jetpack joyride. Before the os update, they were working so I think the update disabled some things

Interesting. I have Jetpack Joyride working fine here with FastMem. I will investigate.

    2 things:
    1. What pb os are you running?
    2. When I run jetpack joyride iso, it loads up fine 'till it tells me it has to do something and by then, nothing loads and if you exit the app, the pb is all laggy.

My worry is not about jpjr as much as it is about lamecraft. Pls check that one out

    OS 2.1.0.1526
I have buffered rendering on, frameskip off, JIT on, FastMem on. Game (JPJR) works perfectly albeit slowly.
Also works (and faster ~40 FPS) with buffered rendering off and frameskip on.

Unfortunately, it runs much faster and nicer on my Symbian device. Mostly because of the better GPU I suppose.

Lamecraft doesn't run at all. Don't think it ever did. Some homebrews have issues. Sometimes they try to do some unsupported things like poke the framebuffer or access memory illegally.

OK, I will check it out then. I have a Playbook on an old OS version.

Edit: Lamecraft still not loading on an older OS (2.1.0.560). Which OS was it loading on?

i can imagine. It's probably rooted, right? Yeah welll your missing out on a lot like the whole android individual emulator!

i think my jpjr file was corrupted so im trying it again. Anyways, i know I had lamecraft. I'm sure of it. I think its got to do with the os update. Also, there are 2 lamecraft isos (on their website). Only one of them works (now I should say worked, lol)

Oh, I'm using the signed one. Is it the other one that works?

Edit: Yep, the unsigned version loads perfectly! On latest firmware too.

I know. I just realized that the file I had was corrupted or something after the os update. So I'm sorry for all the hassle but I thought it was the emulator. Btw, I deleted jpjr and am trying to find another iso for it. Can you pm me with the file you have?

Anyone knows how to delete the emulator save states? I can't delete them from any file manager. Also what games run smoothly with no lag? the only one I have found is metal slug xx.

    The saves are in shared/documents
100s of games, if not 1000s run smoothly so I can't give a complete list.
Here's a compatibility list which may help: Compatibility List

I know where they are, I mean the files at /accounts/1000/shared/documents/PSP/PPSSPP_STATE/ that the emulator creates when you save a state can't be deleted with any file manager for some reason even when I connect the playbook to my desktop via usb and try to delete the files it tells me that I don't have permission or something like that. I would really appreciate it if you could look into this bug. btw thanks for the list, that's awesome!
