Just disable buffered rendering and hardware transform, enable mipmapping and enable frame skip and linear filtering in the game settings to run the game at full speed.

Warning: Dont use savestates, the data created by the ppsspp emulator in your documents folder can not be deleted for some reason, it is a playbook bug. Use the ingame save data to progress it also can not be deleted but its size is less than 1mb.

Tip: when selecting a Robot master skip the intro or the game will freeze.

Has anyone been able to get the sound to work?

Here is the last ppsspp version that worked on the playbook:

It would be nice if we could make a list of the psp games that work fine enough on a playbook.
    I'll contribute!

I may have found the solution to this, when you open the emulator and change some settings a file called ppsspp.ini is created in your documents folder, edit this file with a text editor and change the bottom option Encrypt save data to False then save the changes. The reason the files can not be deleted is because they are encrypted. Any ideas how to delete these encrypted files from the playbook guys?
