Any chance you can implement support for accessing CIFS/SMB shares from the PB? The Files and Folders devs have claimed it's almost impossible without OS-level support, however, if you could pull it off - and do so without requiring any software to be installed on the server side - you'd become an instant hero to many PB users.
I am having trouble getting the Dropbox feature to work. I sign into Dropbox ok, but when I go to the files - download - Dropbox, there is nothing there.
I confirm that it's possible to have CIFS/SMB. Beside of I want to add it with WebDAV.
Of course, thumbnails are planned, but users prefer that I add new service support (sugarsync, skydrive, webdav, cifs...). I want to also add sync process. And a lot of features.
And I do in sort that all is ready and implemented for bb10.
PlayClous is a 1 month application old
If you wish that I add other features to my roadmap, please ask me
To dropbox issue, you can contact by mail through the appworld support.
Timeframe? And do you need a beta tester with extensive experience configuring CIFS/SMB shares for the enterprise? Someone who could give your app a proper workout and help you troubleshoot bugs/issues?
Thought PlayCloud supported FTP when I bought it, turns out it doesn't yet...
Not a big deal, it's still a great app is there any potential timeline on FTP?
