    Which is the best PDF reader (free or paid) that can remember the last page you were on after you close the pdf file?

    As the other posters above have said PDF reader is a good choice. It's a really good application and comes with a lot of features that are not on the adobe reader.

    Now I think about it, there also is an ebook reader, with lots of features like pagemarking etc., that deals with pdfs with the explicit condition they don't content graphics (otherwise it still works but too slowly). It's PlayEpub book reader, which I don't own, but that may solve two things at a time if the OP is also into ebooks...
