I tried to download it with no luck! I was hoping OverDrive Media would make a app for Blackberry because my local library uses OverDrive Media. I'm gonna try to download it again when I get home sometimes my work internet connection blocks downloads.

Just search overdrive in app world. I downloaded it and borrowed my first library book yesterday

My problem was I did not remember my Adobe Digital Editions id/password! Finally, got it.

I tried to download this app but I keep on getting "Install Error 0008". Although the application will show on my Playbook, I can't open it as it is just showing a blank screen. I deleted the app then re-installed it but nothing has changed. Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm getting the same thing after the 2.4.2 upgrade. It was working before and after trying to upgrade it broke and will not install as noted above.

I emailed their tech support yesterday and noticed they put a new updated version to 2.4.2.1 and I tried to reload it. This update installed and is working again. You might want to delete app, reboot PB, refresh the Appworld and try to reinstall. Good Luck.

I haven't updated yet since the early reports - but I'm showing an update to 2.4.2.2 now; anyone confirm this one is working properly?

I updated to 2.4.2.2: it works fine
Update includes
multi-column landscape ebook setting
bold font option
image viewer > click on image to zoom

2.4.1 included
added no margins

The only problem with the 2.4.2.2 update was it 'lost' my public library and had to be re-initialized

thats because its an Android app and runs in the Android player..

Mine never loads correctly on my playbook. This app is now available for BB phones as well and it runs great! I assume it was an easy HTML5 port. The playbook version simply crashes every time I load it......

Yes they did another update bringing it to 2.4.2.2 I have upgraded to that as well with no problems. If you still have issues getting it to load I would suggest you try the procedure in my previous post.
