RIM didn't say it, but pictures have leaked. It is there. May not be in the very 1st release of OS2, bit it is there somewhere.

I'd consider it a bad move not giving it away there and then though...

my pb goes back tomorrow, but it will be a swaped for another pb

but thats only because i have a dark spot on my bottom right screen (see my post)

work took away my bb and changed it for a god awful iphone after i got a galaxy nexus for personal use so bridge is not an option

thought "i dont need my email properly on my pb" but after 3 hours i realised i did

Do you have a webportal you can access your email from?

I know it is nice to have the app/bridge, but even for my site's, I usually rely on the webmail for more delicate tasks.

Or just put the PB aside and get the Bold...

So, if you need more than just the mobile gmail, scroll to the bottom of your inbox and ask for the desktop version.

About the only things we know for sure about 2.0 are that it will be a free update for everyone, and it will include native email (actually native PIM, so more than just email).

There are only a couple of other things known (video store, some enterprise stuff), and lots more speculated about and ranging from unlikely to expected.

Just wanted to rebut the "RIM has not told us yet", since this has been quite clear.

QNX is their future. The PB is QNX. We're covered. No need for alarm.

It isn't just based on what RIM has or hasn't said. In certain preview versions you can go into device settings and there is a new "Accounts" tab, where you can enter information for e-mail and Facebook accounts.

This was in the last virtual machine simulator I downloaded, and I entered one of my accounts. The vm did NOT have the actual e-mail program (deliberately held back), but I was able to successfully log in to a POP3 account and have the device give me a push notification (and even a preview from the icon on the upper left).

    Native e-mail is almost here.

I saw a RIM employee's PB tonight and he definitely had native email client running on the OS2 beta.

    It is coming 100%
