    Talking Network Tools for Playbook?

    Are there any Network tools for the playbook? A wireless scanner, a port scanner like NMAP, even a simple ping/traceroute tool would be super.

    It would be great to have a suite of network tools.

    The PB does have ping, traceroute and DNS lookup capabilities. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi>Wi-Fi Status>Diagnostic information to select...

    Netting is a network utility which provides the following functionalities:

    Connectivity: Check the availability and response times to web sites selected by the users.
    Telnet: Can establish a TCP connection to any port and any IP address, providing text based interaction.
    Network interfaces: Show information about network interfaces availables at the device.
    DNS: This functionality is still under test.
    Battery monitor: Monitor the status and the level of the battery.
    IP address: Show the IP address of the device.
    Device info: Show the following device data: Device OS, Board serial number, Hardward ID, Vendor ID, Pin and SCM bundle.
