Dawned on me last night I can play Sketch W Friends against my Mrs with me on the Playbook and her on her iPad and much enjoyment was had

Any other multiplayer games that are cross platform out there?

WordHero I think is cross-platform, though you can't always find who you want to find on the scoreboard after each round. I'm not sure if it's available on the iPad. If it is, and you like word games, it's great competition, as the boards you play on are synchronized, and you play at the same time in quick rounds.

You could also sideload Words w Friends.

Just noticed a few new games from Star Arcade: Jelly Wars, Battleships, Jewel Capture and Jewel Paradise. All seem to be online only, and cross-platform. I found videos of the gameplay for 3 of them on Googleplay.
