Don't mind me,nothing much to see here.
Wanted to visit App World one last time before going off to bed.
Click on new arrivals and this is what I get:

Don't get, me wrong; I enjoy boobs as much as the next guy. I'm just irritated by hoping for a great app to try out and instead this is the general crap I find.
At least this time it was pictures and not those erotic novels with the witty titles.

Is RIM weeding these out? I'm not trying to come across as prude, but these leaves a lot to be desired for the quality and diversity of the apps available.

Feel free to lock this thread, can't see a different discussion that would add much value from what we have already.

    Sigh.

My take on it is this: I don't have any interest in buying this stuff (Who pays for porn?) but I don't really have a problem with it being in app world either. What I do have a problem with is *anything* that isn't really an app being in the new arrivals section or any sort of listing. It needs to have its own section. They *HAVE* to know how bad this makes App World look in general. Why do they not do anything about it? Are they seriously afraid of losing these particular developers? Are they afraid Rovio is gonna quit giving them the new Angry Birds titles if they crack down on unscrupulous morons repackaging pdf's as apps?

They seriously need to filter the apps before it goes onto the market!

Ew this is disgustingly polluted like the Android Market. I can't speak about Google Play, but the Android Market was full of apps like this devved by some 13 year old wingwong.

I recently got my hands on a Galaxy Note (i'll post some impressions later) and I can safely say there are a LOT of apps that appear in the Top Free section of Google Play.

Top app 22, 39, 44. Then it jumps down to 132.

    A lot less apps.
I'm sure the these erotic apps in AppWorld will fade away.

I guess I'm just trying to deal with the my own frustration with RIM's continuous strategy to invite app developers, simplify app development, evolve SDKs and NDKs, hand out playbooks and BB10 alpha devices and these are the results to show for their efforts...

I guess I do have to ask - are these just those photos or is there some actual app that does something? In the other thread on these images, someone mentioned the "sleaze filter" and I did turn it on. Now we need a book filter and I'm be set until the next new thing overruns appworld.

Mature doesnt stop them from clogging the top 25 for me. Only stops you from clicking on them.
