Even the GPS finds the current location and tracks.

Thanks for the Box link - still working.

Issue: I guess I don't know how to bring up Android menus. It appears hit and miss. I get trapped in the map-download/lib menu and can't get out.

Thank you for putting this on Box! I downloaded the maps for my area and they work great! GPS hasn't taken very long to acquire the location during my testing.

Edit: For those looking for a good ON Device Maps app this is a great one. I don't believe there is navigation but GPS location and detailed maps are always nice to have.

Downloaded all 6 files on there server and there is no map of Florida or Alaska.

I don't know where you downloaded your maps from, but maps can be downloaded from within the app. To do so, swipe down from the top and choose Manage Maps. FWIW, Alaska is not listed here, but Florida is.

if there is no turn by turn navigation then what is the purpose of mapdroyd, i have sygic bar file and i install on my playbook after installation only one icon called sygic downloader there is no any other icon, downloading of map are fine but after that nothing will happened
