Sorry, but are you saying you got this message on your PB or trying to DL Bridge on your BB10 device?

    Welcome to the forums!

Your PlayBook... What 2.1 does it have loaded? What BlackBerry device did you try downloading Bridge to? And what was the version of the Bridge app you were trying to get?

Bridge in included on the PB. You download Bridge to match your model of bbphone. Then pair the units.

I get that message on my playbook when attempting to download a higher version from BlackBerry World. I saw a video that said higher version would allow for texting etc since that had been taken away for z10 users which I am. I am attempting to download BlackBerry bridge 3.0 which says works with BlackBerry 10 devices

BlackBerry bridge ver 3.0 is supposed to work with z10 devices. When I navigate to download it on the playbook that's when it reads the item not supported for my device profile.

Again, go to BBworld using the z10. Then find the Bridge app and then download it on the z10.

Do you have a link to the Video - that might help figure out if this is really Bridge or some other app that fills in the missing functions.

What they're saying is that the app is for your phone, not your Playbook. That's why you're getting the error message.

Are you referring to this bridge.

This item not supported by your current device profile-img_00000041.png

    Or this Bridge.

No this not it. The last response helped me. The update to bridge 3.0 was for the OS10 and not for the playbook. But the video ran across seemed to indicate sms,etc was working with playbook 2.1. Is the app / screenshot you posted for playbook and in BlackBerry world?

None of the PIM Apps work with a BB10 device.

All you can do is Internet sharing, open with remote control, remote keyboard and access files.
