    Default IM Apps?

    Does anyone have any idea if they are goign to release IM apps for the Playbook? Like AIM, Yahoo, Windows Live, etc.

    It's expected that these apps will, sometime in the future be released. But it's anyone's guess right now as to when in the future these "should have been there at launch" apps will actually come out. Sadly, join the rest of in waiting and hoping that the promises, and potential, of the Playbook will come to pass.

    plus.im will work through the browser if you have an account with them. But yeah.. pretty weak.

    We have started work on the Windows Live Messenger App although have a hit a problem, Microsofts end not our but once they have fixed it we should have it created in a few hours, then just have to wait on RIM to accept it. But shouldn't be long.
