if rumored bb10 does in fact come out on PB next week, does it mean that once installed all 2.0 apps not updated to BB10 will stop working ? Secondly, what about all sideloaded Android apps ?

OS 2 apps will work on BB10, but not all will work smooth.

Android apps are supported on BB10

There is no evidence to suggest that any apps will cease to function after the update, native or Android, sideloaded or App World. Anyone stating anything to the contrary is spreading misinformation and unsubstantiated rumours.
