I side-loaded the Amazon Appstore using a .bar file found on this forum, and I have tried to delete it from my playbook but the damn thing won't delete! I am holding down the app for a few seconds till it flashes and the garbage can icon appears, I click the garbage can icon and it appears that it was successfully deleted....but when I restart my playbook the app always reappears!! How can I permanently delete this app? Is there another way to delete side-loaded apps other than what I mentioned above? Thanks for any help!
If you used the BBH tool to sideload the stuff onto your playbook from pc, you can use the same process but hit 'uninstall' and it will remove it that way too. Just keep all your .bar files in a folder on your pc in case you ever need to remove them that way.
