I was browsing App World today and saw the new GROUPON HD for PlayBook. Its is an awesome looking app. I wonder if Groupon had early access to the SDK. At any rate with the new Nasdaq app and now this one. Playbook apps are starting to show some real promise. Bring on DevCon. These app are nice enough to be shown at DevCon, makes you wonder what REAL awesomeness they will put on display.

Thanks for the headsup on that app. Lost it when I updated to a 9860. It doesn't seem to be available for 7.0 phones as far as mine goes.

Has anyone worked out why apps like this and BB News aren't available elsewhere ? I've tried a number of US proxy servers but not having any luck so far.

I was able to use the amazon proxy servers and it worked for me, even on Vevo, BB News, even had the music store and podcast installed after wiping the device. You have to interchange the proxy settings once you got the hold of the download button on the app you choose though.

Love the Groupon HD app! able to pinpoint location and find deals close to me! pretty sweet! plus if you dont use it that night say for instance a groupon to have dinner that night, they refund your money! pretty slick!
