Flight Sim/Flight Game Needed for Playbook
I know a few weeks ago a flying game came out which lacked in a lot of areas. I just wished there was a nice flight sim or game for the Playbook. Does anyone know of upcoming titles?

I don't know of one but totally agree!

Was thinking the same thing just the other week. I know MS Flight SIM has always been a big hit, but I loved the old ATC flight sim from way back in the late 80's. Would love something like that.

X-Plane is what we need! It's excellent on the iPad.

The only thing I can see in App world is Armageddon Squadron. Seems to be the only half good flight related game. Looks kinda interesting, but not my cup of tea.
There is one other game where you fly a bi-plane accross the screen, looks very VIC 20 to me. - 10-18-2011, 07:32 PM #7
what would be better than playing a flight sims game on a plane... and telling the blonde next to you that you're acutally in control

Yes I agree. For years I have used Clearview flight sim (an RC flightsim) for the computer and the developer 0f it recently released some free android apps in the android market. I am a registered user of his products so I'll give him a shout, make a request, and point him to this thread. Though it's a bit different than a flight sim where you actually fly the plane, an RC sim would be great too!

I wonder if 2.0 will allow you to play XPlane from the Android Market?

I'm pretty sure he means the official OS 2.0 (non-beta)
Some of us (including me) are still hoping more apps will work :P
I doubt that those written in the ndk will though.. - 02-13-2012, 01:11 PM #17

Bummer. I don't have insight into the Beta 2.0 conversion process. Should I hold any hope that apps not compatible converting with the Beta 2.0 will miraculously be compatible with the full 2.0 release?

I really hope for x-plane but let's be honest, we won't see a real flight simulator on a mobile device. At least not for good few years. These devices are just not powerful enough to run a full scale sim. Anyway x-plane is one of the reasons I can't wait for OS 2.
