trying to find a firefox app for my playbook for an online school. currently the
school only supports ie 7 or firefox 3 and wondering if there is a app or program in the works for playbook

have you tried accessing it via the playbooks webpage? there is no firefox app for the pb but the page should load regardless unless it uses silverlight or some other type of unsupported active x.

i also need to access a web page that will only allow firefox, safari or explorer.
explorer won't work and i won't bother with safari.

anyone had any luck?

We have websites designed for Firefox and the Playbook browser works fine.

If you tried it and it says it doesn't support you browser the problem could be the website is not set up to recognize PB user agent. Send the following Playbook user agent info to the webmaster. Note the PB user agent references Safari.
