If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated:

I have successfully sideloaded FCEUXpb-1_0_0_18.bar onto my pb and the nes icon shows on my home screen, great. Opens and closes immediately from lack of ROMS, understandable.

I created z:/misc/roms/nes/ and have uploaded a few roms (game.nes) close out of everything, unplug the pb and FCEUpb still fails to load any games. I restart the pb several times and load different roms but still no success. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Also, I have OS 2.0.1.358

Have you got the newest version? It has a selector just like in the PSX or SNES emulators

I'm downloading the one in the link on the first post. Once I install it, it makes me select games by tapping the left corner ... Really blows lol

Another problem is when I tap in the left corner for so long, the program jsut crashes and exits back to the main Playbook screen

Some potentially dumb questions, so bear with me (and apologies if they've been answered already)

1) I keep on seeing the FCEUX splash screen when I'm switching applications or loading videos or the like. Is there a way to stop this? I even tried uninstalling the emulator to no avail. It goes away if I reset the PB, but only until the next time I run FCEUX

2) Would it be possible to have the emulator run with the game screen in a 4:3 aspect ratio the way the SNES and Genesis emulators do? Stretching the NES games looks funny, and having empty space on either side would let you have the buttons be more opaque and visible, and more customizable in terms of locations that wouldn't have you holding your thumbs over the game screen.

Update to my above post: the splash screen issue has mysteriously stopped for me. I don't know how or why, but the screen no longer appears in other programs, even if I use FCEUX and then go immediately to something else like the video player or browser.

still think it'd be nice if the game screen wasn't stretched to fit the playbook screen and the buttons were a little more opaque. But that's less important.

Love this emulator its so great. And just got even better now that i have my BB PB Mini keyboard. My question is can i map the controls on the keyboard myself at all? or am i just stuck with the defaults? If so someone please let me know how. Also the link on the first page is not for the latest version of this emulator i have v1.0.1.2 and first page is on v1.0.0.18 which doesn't have the rom selector just a heads up guys.

You have to put your roms inside /accounts/1000/shared/misc/roms/nes/

Ok so i downloaded some roms but all the roms are .zip files. I also did put inside /misc/roms/nes. but it still force closes. im getting really pissed off? i have the latest version of emulator too.

How is the performance? Are you using the SDL library supplied by RIM on the open source git repository? If so are you using the 8bit update or the original?

This is the site I've been getting them from my cpu downloads them as .zip files do I extract them or just put the entire .zip in misc/roms/nes?
