    Awesome job on the WWBuilder!

I have everything installed and I'm trying to package an app. Which directory does it create the .bar file?

I'm not able to find it for some reason!

Not sure why, but I've sideloaded this a couple of times now and can't seem to find it when it is done.

    Any ideas?

It should be in the same directory as WWBuilder.exe. If not, you must not have everything set up quite right. Either that or there's some bug left in it I have not accounted for (highly possible). Make sure settings.ini definitely has the correct path to bbwp and the correct password for your keystore. Also, try increasing the buildId in the settings.ini. Set it to 100 or something, just in case that is causing problems.

It was always listed after the last app on the first screen for me. It may be obvious, but try scrolling down on the first screen and check for apps not visible at first glance (i.e. place finger towards bottom of screen and move up).

Yeah i've looked there and its still a no go. There is actually and empty space on the last line of the main screen where it should be but nothing is there. What does the icon look like?

Almost identical to the icon for the stock, preinstalled Facebook app.

EDIT: BTW, are you trying the original BAR I posted or the updated one? (Old one is called FB4PB.bar, new one is called Facebook.bar). If you have the old one, try the new one (link in first post). If you have the new one, try the old one, link: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?2q63m4agg33wccd

Haven't tried uploading photos, but I did check to see if it looked like it would work and it seemed like it should. Please do report back if it does or not, it'll be nice to know

WWBuilder is creating the zip file but it disappears and does not create the .bar file.

I have been converting .apk files to .bar files. So I have the set up for signing files etc. The password is also correct.
I tried with a new set of keys but it says "Error: Already registered with RDK".

Any other thoughts on what could be wrong?

Do you have the Web Works SDK setup? I don't know if it's different or whatever, but clearly something in the SDK is failing.

I am not yet an attorney and this is not legal advice.
I haven't checked your app out yet (I'm about to ), but I think if it's free App World will permit it. It took me a lot of argument, but I got free PoS ebay and amazon apps in so this should be ok.

Ah yeah, I'd probably need to add extra permissions for that. Which I could do, but won't right now. Maybe tomorrow if I have a few spare minutes.

FB4PB works smoothly. But I cannot find the "Back" button, and also I cannot open photo album.

You're right, there's absolutely no reason for FB to not make a quality app for the PlayBook. This makes me mad.

Will probably update it as you suggested later today. Seems like a cleaner solution.

I reinstalled the Web works and it's working now. Not sure what had happened the first time around!

I could make the .bar file from your application.

    Thanks once again!

I will try when I get home for sure. I have been using the facebook website on my playbook since day one, but I have noticed that it hangs everytime I get a chat message.

Should hopefully work as you desire. (has regular http domain as well as https).

EDIT: @Judge Dredd: You might want to try this version too. Note that this version will not overwrite an older version, so if you installed the first version, delete it and install this one instead.

If you have no problems with the old app, there is no absolute need to update.
Sorry for the delay. This version works perfect. Thanks again.

First post updated with new versions of FB and Twitter apps, as well as new version of WWBuilder. Slightly different approach, should be (very) slightly faster to launch now and looks a bit cleaner while launching.

Facebook works great. Only a back button is needed (mostly in pictures). Twitter is very smooth and fast, but couldn't get into any links.
