Alright, vbam is giving me some issues, froggyface is going to look into it at some point.
Next emulator for overhaul is FCEUXpb.
Tentative todo list:
- Possibly remove splash screen (to avoid ghosting .... do you guys see this lots?)
- update ROM selector to include the visual dialog (like snes and psx)
- create the nes folder on first run.
- update control gfx
Any requests thus far?

tnx no problems to report yet just wondering is it possible to anonymously pick up logs from playbooks and have them automatically sent to you when there is an error? so that u can figure whats wrong and affecting alot of ppl without them even reporting it u could already be fixing the problem

the refresh project is a good idea! I'd love to feature your work on my site too!

After playing games like MetalGear Solid, MDK and Shadowman on the playstation emu for the Playbook...it seems that the graphics are not smoothed out enough.
I know these games are dated and maybe I am used to the PS3 and Xbox 360 graphics..but just wanted to make sure if its just the game being dated or does the emu need to be configured to take advantage of the playbooks hardware in some way. Not sure just an observation. I am so happy that I can play these classics on a 7in table.
This is great for 2d fighting games like street fighter and darkstalkers. - 04-27-2012, 02:24 PM

The PSX looks excellent on the playbook. Try playing it via SCART on your TV on a regular PSX. Looks kinda ugly

If you're asking how well it works, it's alright for GBA, but there are a lot of things that need to be addressed. It runs alright in terms of speed and everything, but there are some glitches with button configuration, and GB/GBC games are not connected to the rom cycler, so if you want to play GB/GBC you can only use one rom at a time, which it will open on default. Anyway, like I said, it's not bad if you just want GBA

I would of agreed a few days ago but now we have a working ps1 emulator
. N64 can wait a while.... for me anyway. Plus a lot of N64 games used the analog stick. They don't work too well on a touchscreen. The amount of buttons that controller had
the screen will be a bit of a cluttered mess. If we can get pad support for playbook then I'm gonna be happy. Til then though, N64 is not that high on the list
