We updated our Easy Expense Monitor app giving it a clean UI (to be fair, the previous one was rather ugly), correcting some bugs and adding a version for the PlayBook.

The app is very simple to use. Users can set a general monthly expense budget, define expense categories and set a particular budget for each category by dividing the general budget.

After that they can allocate expenses to appropriate categories in order to monitor the available budget.

Available budget numbers are shown for the total budget and for each category (the box turns red if going overbudget).

Budget numbers are automatically reset at the beginning of each month (the allocated amounts are kept at the levels of the previous month, but expenses are set to 0 for the new month).

Expense history is available by selecting the coresponding month in the main window.

All data (total budget, defined categories, registered expenses) can be edited at any time.
