Much like Need for Speed when it first came out (before the latest update), when you port Dead Space out via HDMI the sound still comes from the playbook speakers and not to the TV.

Does anybody else have this issue, and is there a fix or are we waiting for an update?

you need to check you hdmi settings on pb. if hdmi sound is checked, ensure your tv sound is on. I have a sound system my tv runs through.

if hdmi sound is not ticked, you should have sound. if not, do a reboot, if tjat doesnt work, do an uninstall reinstall.

it is most likely hdmi sound on, with tv sound off though

Yep, I have a surround sound system my tv runs thru but the way it's hooked up I have to turn sound on the tv to get sounds since the playbook isn't running thru the surround system.

I have my PlayBook plugged into my Denon AV-591 (I think that's what it is called) and every app excluding Dead Space has sound going through the tv's speakers.... :S
