I just recently upgraded Windows 7 to Windows 8 and I attempted a dual-boot, but due to activation issues, I got rid of Win7. Now, I've begun re-installing my old apps. While installing DDPB, I get an error dialog saying that I need to install .NET Framework onto my PC. After downloading the installer for .NET framework, I get a error saying that it has already been pre-installed on my PC. I also am running the version of Java specified on dauden.vn... Anyone has any ideas?

,net is part of windows 8, you have to go to features and fill in the check box to enable it, I posted a screen shot on one the threads around here a while back

Have you ever heard of side loading within Google Chrome????? There is an app that runs in chrome called "Playbook App Manager", it works very well and connects through usb as well as Wifi.

There is also .net framework 3.5 which includes the older versions. I have both the 3.5 and the included 4.5 on my Win8 and DDPB installed and loads just fine.

Yes, I have used it and even used it prior to upgrading. After switching to Win8 and syncing my Chrome extensions, I got it back.. But when I try logging in, it fails..

I installed Windows 8 Pro on my home laptop recently and just around to reinstalling DDPB last night. The only thing I had to do to get it running was install and update Java on my system. Works fine after that

Not meaning to be smart with this comment ..... When using the "Playbook App Manager" in chrome you are still putting the Playbook into developement mode correct?
