Here is an update on it for those who care:

We are working on an update to the DatPiff app for Blackberry Playbook. It will be redesigned and offer more functionality such as commenting and favoriting mixtapes. We expect this in Q1 2012, around the same time that RIM updates the Playbook to the 2.0 OS
