OK so reelportal has my wife connected to her mum which good for me means no more driving 2 hours to see the outlaws! But it only works if you both join a private chat room.

So my question is, is there an app on the ipad and PB like bbm where it's always running and they can chat and tell each other to join a private chat room

I searched 'im' in my PlayBook App-World.
There are two that show up that have services such as 'AIM'.

QISS IM is $0.99 and says it has Windows Live Messenger however, does not.

IM+ for BlackBerry PlayBook is $7.99 but has a ton of features!
