Is there any way to change the icons of a "self created" app on the home screen. I have saved to the home screen a couple of webpages using my browser. They show up as an icon with a miniature photo clip of the webpage. It works but is not very neat. Is there a way to actually replace the image with a neat and/or meaningful icon? Thanks!

I try to zoom in on the logo of the pages and then add bookmark to the homescreen.

Only way is to package an app yourself that just launches the page you want.

What knowledge do you need to repackage an app to launch a webpage?

I don't recall but I think someone came up with an app that may provide that ability indirectly and I think it is someone that posts here. Sorry for the lagging gray matter.

As JLeigh said, I made a post about custom home screen bookmark mark icons here:http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...-icons-712870/

I think if someone was tech savvy enough, and had enough time they could repackage bar files with a different icon? Might be wrong and probably not worth the effort.
