Is there BB Protect for the playbook

right now i dont really see a use for it you can only use it to find your playbook if its on wifi and theres no messages or contacts to back up because everythings stored on your phone so no right now my guess would be maybe when the 3g/4g models come out

Thats true, but i would like to wipe the documents that are on there if my PB goes missing or gets stolen.

And when the native email is on the PB would be good.

is there another app that would do that.

How would an app such as BlackBerry Protect be able to get in contact with the PlayBook in order to wipe it in the event it is lost or stolen?

It has to be stolen with the phone of the owner and an active bridge connection. Lol, that would totally be messed up.
