All the new apps are not in the right category. Plus most of the new games are total garbage. RIM was saying they want quote "quality" apps and games. What ever happened to that ?

The sad fact is that aside from the appworld being a dated and unfriendly place torowse, developers see no real future in terms of potential or profit in the Playbook or Blackberry ecosystem. Devs will end up making their apps for Android and then the Playbook will get a hastily converted version lacking the inbuilt features of the qnx os. This will not change, and IMO will be a big contributor to the inevitable death of the Playbook.

the app world isnt just for playbook it is also eventually for BB10 phones so if you think the PlayBook will die then you think BB10 phones will fail too. is that what im getting? although i do disagree i think devs will come it just takes time sadly even more with Andriod and iOS's established user base. some big devs have come around to the playbook just more time for other devs to follow suite

App stores will always have a lot of junk in them. What RIM needs to do is do a better job of highlighting and promoting quality apps and interesting new additions. That's something they can work on.
